named for the Pomerania region in Central Europe,
which is today part of northern Poland and part of modern eastern Germany,
and classed as a toy dog breed because of its small size.
As determined by the FCI the Pomeranian is part of the German Spitz breed,
and in German and many foreign speaking countries known as the Zwergspitz, or Toy German Spitz.

Coming-ofAge is Seijin shiki in Japanese.

It is held annually on Coming-of-Age Day, the second Monday in January.

So I become 20 years old before, the ceremonywill be hold.

Many women celebrate this day by wearing a kimono with furisode.
Of corce I will wear it.
I have will wear Kimono for the first time on January 14.

I'm looking forward to seeing junior high school students.
I have not seen them for a long time.

After ceremony, we plan to have a party at local.
Maybe about 100 people will go to the party.

I don't know who come.
But I'm looking forword to.

snowboarding

It is a winter sport that involves descending
a snow-covered slope on a snowboard attached
to a participant's feet using a special boot set into
a mounted binding.

It is similar to skiing, but inspired by surfing and skateboarding.

The sport was developed in the United States in the 1960s.
And the 1970s and became a Winter Olympic Sport in 1998.

I have never done.

I’m poor at sport.
But I want to try this year

So I’m going to buy snowboarding goods with a friend.

I want to do snowboarding soon.
I'm looking forward to going snow-covered mountain.

2008☆Happy New Year

January 1 is start of the year.

It is called “Oshougatsu” for a few days from January 1 in Japan.
There are many events and customs peculiar to this season.

Japanese eat rice cake boiled with vegetable

and they pay a visit to a shrine on New Year’s Day.

“Mochitsuki” is event peculiar to Japan, too.

Japanese write the New Year’s card.
But recently the people write the card decrease.
Many people send a E-mail.

It is sad Japanese traditional fade away, I think.
